Our goal is for regenerative agriculture to become “conventional” agriculture for future generations.

Sustainable production of healthy food in harmony with nature should be the rule and not the exception in the future.

If we learn from the past and invest in the future, we can develop our agriculture sustainably.

OUR MISSION

Regenerative agriculture is a negative emissions technology that protects the climate

With our project, we want to actively help spread sustainable, local food cultivation. To this end, we are developing the “Raptrac” implement carrier. The Raptrac is fully electric, lightweight and multifunctional in order to further promote the concept of sustainability.

With Raptrac, we offer a future-oriented automation solution for broad-acre strip cultivation and regenerative agriculture. Together with the cultivation methods of our partner “HofLabor”, this represents a holistic solution concept for operating regenerative agriculture economically.

In this way, we are making a decisive contribution to ensuring that the general population has access to healthy and unpolluted food. Raptrac supports climate-friendly agriculture and helps to achieve climate targets. Biodiversity is promoted and environmental pollution is avoided. This benefits current and future generations by improving their quality of life.

Regenerative agriculture

Agriculture is one of the most important economic sectors in a society. It provides the food we need to live and has a major impact on our biodiversity and ecosystems.

The balancing act between economic food production, preserving biodiversity, meeting environmental targets and avoiding harmful pesticides is a major challenge and often contradictory.

Many agricultural pioneers and research institutes see the future in strip cultivation combined with the concepts of regenerative agriculture. One of these pioneers is our partner “HofLabor”, which has been developing the regenerative cultivation method “mosaic agriculture” since 2015 using old, nature-loving cultivation knowledge, which works without pesticides, pesticides or artificial fertilizers. This form of strip cultivation is a sophisticated concept that now achieves the same yields as organic monocultures. Due to the lack of automation, profitability is difficult compared to conventional cultivation methods.

OUR OFFER

Raptrac's market is bed and strip cultivation and, in particular, regenerative agriculture. This market is at the beginning of its development. Raptrac will make a significant contribution to the evolution of this market by strengthening the profitability of these cultivation methods.

The product portfolio is the Raptrac implement carrier and the associated attachments. Further products with a focus on automation in strip cultivation in regenerative agriculture are part of the roadmap.

Raptrac AG focuses on the development and production of these products. For successful positioning in the market, it is essential that the products are part of an overall solution for strip cultivation in regenerative agriculture. Raptrac is therefore in constant contact with its partners.

OUR CONCEPT

A bio-intensive revolution for a regenerative future

The Raptrac is characterized by its wide range of tillage and transport options. Thanks to its modular design, the positions of the attachments and direction of travel can be adapted to the individual application.

Here we illustrate a few examples of the Raptrac's functional possibilities.

The Raptrac is designed to meet the needs and cultivation methods of strip cultivation in regenerative agriculture. The implement carrier mechanizes and automates the currently time-consuming and manual work steps in a targeted manner.

Precisely tailored to the beds and their tracks in strip cultivation.

COMPACT

02

Minimizing soil compaction is a fundamental basis of regenerative agriculture.

LIGHT

03

MULTIFUNCTIONAL

One implement carrier for many different work steps minimizes investment requirements and increases cost-effectiveness.

• Three-point power lift with PTO drive

• Specific attachments for regenerative strip farming

• Interface to quick coupling triangle (transport option)

04

Supporting sustainable and climate-friendly agriculture by operating with energy from renewable sources.

ELECTRIC DRIVE

05

Driving assistance system

Controlled Traffic Farming means that there is no soil compaction in the cultivation area and the crops can be cultivated without damaging the crops.

• Tracking accuracy / seed spacing +/- 2 cm

• Semi-autonomous operation

• Creating strips/lanes of your own fields using data from Swisstopo

06

The investment costs will be lower than the current options on the market, which consist of larger machines and, depending on the application, several machines.

• Combining all light to medium weight work activities

• Expandability through options

• Size of implement carrier & energy requirement matched to bed width

Economic efficiency

OUR PARTNERS

It's time to take action and protect our environment

In the HofLabor, we are developing “regenerative mosaic agriculture” as a unique on-farm innovation project - together with pioneering farms on over 20 hectares.

«We have already been able to make very good use of a functional model of the Raptrac both in traditional cultivation and for innovative cultivation trials (carrots with undersowing), and thanks to the team's rapid interactions, we have achieved ever better results over the season. We see great potential in the Raptrac as a multifunctional, quickly deployable, lightweight and electric addition to the tractor - especially on the way to biodiverse, soil-conserving and at the same time efficient and economical agriculture, as we are developing with Mosaik Agriculture. We are very much looking forward to further cooperation.»

At Biohof Chrutig, we not only have a great passion and the necessary commitment to agriculture and natural horticulture, but we also have a wealth of experience in a wide variety of areas.

Selina Niederberger:

«That sounds like a sensational machine that is gentle on the soil and soil animals :)»

«We at the Biohof Chrutig community support innovative technologies and sustainable progress in agriculture. A future of vital soils is particularly important to us. We would use the multifunctional Raptrac product on our valuable soil without hesitation.

We want to use a versatile technology for our production and support this great progress. We look forward to using the Raptrac on our biodiverse vegetable crops.»

Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the university of applied sciences of the six cantons of Central Switzerland. With currently around 8,300 students in education, over 12,000 continuing education participants and 400 new research and development projects, it is the largest educational institution in the heart of Switzerland.

Adrian Koller:

«I find it very promising that organic farming could be intensified with bed-based cultivation. For the whole thing to be economically viable, it needs sensible, optimized mechanization support. Raptrac fills precisely this gap!»
